 I’m always delighted when I receive emails from artists who want to introduce me to their work. But Phresha’s vibrant paintings are a true eye candy I had to share. Fresh, bold, seductive, her female characters seem to draw you in with their dark – sometimes surreal charm.

 "Portal" I was thrilled when I received an email from Andrew Smith introducing me to his mind blowing artwork! Old and abandoned items such as gears, wires, springs, junk yard scraps and all sort of mechanical parts & equipment are ritually collected by the artist and used to assemble imaginative and captivating kinetic sculptures.
Extraordinary and creative artwork by Tom Deininger who creates sculptures assembled out of trash. The artist has produced fine art installations by recycling found objects and giving them new life. His work is collected by high profile collectors worldwide. 
 Contemporary mixed media artist and sculptor Gilles Barbier creates installations that are destined to make us skip a heartbeat. Surreal, bold and provocative, his human formed characters are found in situations that may seem exaggerated but, from my point of view, are meant to trigger our awakening and realization of our, some times, ill natured human behavior. I also found this video where a curator talks about one of Barbier’s sculptures entitled: “In the soup, a cheddar fondue and three nightmares, speech bubbles (tenant & owner), isolated segments (the infinite assassin) and bananas.”
 What I enjoy in Jenny Meilihove’s artwork is that it is like poetry! Whimsical, refreshing, dreamy, surreal … The illustrator currently lives and creates in Israel and she notes: “I want my artworks to bring happiness to everyone. I want people to forget about all the troubles they have, and emotionally participate in pleasant situations I capture in my works. I think that in order to be happy, we don’t need much. The tiny uplifting things that each of us can easily find in our daily life can make us very happy, if we think seriously about for just a moment, and without any effort (like giving a big big hug to a tiny cat, or to imagine your dream comes true)… We just need to remember to dream, when we still do another and important things.” Don’t forget to check out her online shop and follow her tweets!  I was completely blown away when Adriean Koleric, a talented artist from Canada introduced me to his work! Amazing visual compositions with a distinct surrealistic touch where past is fused with future leading to the creation of new, fantastic worlds. His intrigue compositions have an exciting color palette that makes the artist’s pieces even more appealing to one’s eye.
